Our goal in establishing this web site was to promote United Hospital Services, LLC by providing relevant information to our members and guests that is simple to access.
Our members can access real time data such as bi-weekly billing and daily delivery tickets by logging in with their password on our LinenMaster portal.
In the future, our customer portal will contain such things as the quarterly quality control committee minutes, the annual linen inventory results, all laundry procedures and policies as well as all relevant laundry forms.

Edward McCauley – President and CEO
Graduated Penn State University with Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management in 1981. Worked for HCSC as a Production Supervisor and a Production Engineer from 1985 through 1988. Published two articles in Textile Rental magazine during that period. Earned MBA from Wilkes University in 1988. Went into sales with Gurtler Chemicals in 1989. Promoted to Regional Sales Manager in1993. Left Gurtler Chemicals to become General Manager for a healthcare laundry plant in Camden, NJ with HCSC in 1994. Took a plant losing $800,000 per year and turned it around to make $300,000 plus per year. Promoted to Director of Engineering and Support Services at corporate office in Allentown, PA in 1998. Designed plants for Newark and Baltimore operations. Purchased, refurbished and outfitted Baltimore plant with $4.5 MM budget. Joined United Hospital Services, Inc. a 27 million pound operation as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2002. Promoted to President and CEO in March 2005. Oversaw restructuring of UHS from 501 (C)(3) to for profit LLC. Plant now produces 36 million pounds and $19MM annually. Current board level positions are: Trustee member of the International Association of Healthcare Textile Managers (IAHTM), First Vice President of the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA) and Board Member of the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC).
