Serving Indiana Healthcare Customers Since 1964
United Hospital Services has been at the forefront of developing packs for hospitals and surgery centers for many years. We offer a variety of packs that fit most customers’ needs, but also offer a customized pack program to fit your unique needs.
In addition to providing high-quality linen processing, we partner with our member health systems to enhance services and reduce their operating costs. For example, one of our representatives will help establish a par level for your facility and then monitor it to ensure you receive the most cost-effective solution.
United Hospital Services provides a wide assortment of hospital and operating room linen to fit the needs of your facility.
Our Services For Hospitals
United Hospital Services provides an added service by renting additional products such as walk-off mats, lab coats, and exchange carts. We also provide services such as washing customer’s own goods, including curtains, slings, sliders, and special baby items.
BUILT ON TRADITION
Handling hospital linens requires expertise—and expertise is not gained overnight. For more than 40 years, United Hospital Services has provided reliable, high-quality medical linen products and services to healthcare customers across Central Indiana. We are Indiana’s largest healthcare laundry, and one of the few Indiana laundries accredited by the HLAC (Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council). In fact, United Hospital Services was the second laundry in the country and the first cooperative to earn accreditation.
Are you one that is cleaning and distributing your linens in-house? If so you need to know the risks: The high cost. The lack of accountability. The inefficiencies and much more.
Does your facility meet OSHA standards or guidelines for processing linens? Does your laundry equipment offer consistent quality for your customers? Do you know your cost and are you running at full efficiency? If not, it may be time for you to look at a company that does. United Hospital will show you why you should not be cleaning or distributing your own linen and educating you on the importance of this. Contact us today to get more details.
