ATTENTION:
Draw sheets should be utilized for wheelchair transports; they provide ample coverage at almost half the cost of a Bed Sheet. If warmth is needed, when possible, use the Bath Blanket from the patient’s bed rather than taking a fresh one. Never use Thermal Blankets for transport, they are too long and can create a safety hazard.
Remember: the Draw Sheet or a folded Bath Blanket provides ample coverage and warmth, at nearly half the cost.
